The OpusXX Orchestra was created to give a voice to brilliant women composers across the centuries, to bring to life the many neglected treasures that have been forgotten by history, and to inspire the creation of further contemporary masterpieces by women composers.
OpusXX serves as a pioneer in lighting the way for orchestras to rethink their concert programming, inspires young audiences with historically informed examples of resilience and artistic determination and will provide a new standard in recorded music by women composers.
